Complete 與 finish 的區別

2012 年，在倫敦舉行的語言大賽中，圭亞那選手 Samsund a r Balgobin 在回答比賽中最後一道問題「你如何用一種容易讓人理解的方式解釋 complete 與 finished 的區別」時，給出他的答案：
When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE .
  （娶對老婆，一輩子完美   。）
When you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED .
（娶到歹某，一世人完了。）
And when the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED.
  （ 讓大某逮到你跟小三，你徹底完蛋 。）
擔任評委的世界一流語言學家將桂冠戴在了這位選手的頭上，獎品是環遊世界一週和一箱25年窖齡的朗姆酒，全場觀眾和評委為他起立鼓掌達五分鐘。
